Because all these extended meanings grow from the central image of a physical hand, they belong to one single polysemous word.
In contrast, the flying mammal bat and the baseball bat come from completely different ancestors. The animal name traces back to an ancient Scandinavian word, while the club comes from an Old English word for a stick. No matter how creative you get, there is no shared conceptual bridge between a flying creature and a piece of sporting wood.
Dictionaries treat the two distinctly. A polysemous word gets a single main entry with numbered definitions (1, 2, 3). Homonyms, however, are listed as entirely separate headwords—like bat¹ and bat².
